Approaching
Merano from Bolzano/Bozen or Resia/Reschen motorway take the exit Merano Nord/Lagundo and travel towards Merano. Before the hospital turn left into the Laurin Str. and pass by Quarazze/Gratsch and Castle Thurnstein. Do not drive to Tirolo! If you approach from the Giovo/Jaufen Pass along the Passiria Valley, you have to follow the same route through Quarazze. Do not drive to Tirolo! Tirolo (in German Dorf Tirol) represents a sort of sunny terrace of the health resort of Merano. Here the sun shines higher and longer and the climate is absolutely nice. |
